For the past 5 years, I've been focused primarily on design for mobile, but really when it comes down to it, I'm a problem solver. In my normal day, I do anything from UX design, visual design, user flows, prototyping, user research and analytics.

Principal UX Designer

SAP Concur - Bellevue, Wa 2014-current

  • Lead the user experience and design for all of the travel products within Concur Mobile with a reach of over 3 million users per month and a market share of 50% of corporate travel.
  • Designed both the mobile client and the admin portal for the Concur Assistant - Concur’s first bot that will drive compliance for customers by informing and guiding end users spend decisions.
  • Collaborated with other designers and developers internationally to produce multiple Concur mobile and desktop products.
  • Concepted and built high visibility prototypes for executive use in multiple key notes and conferences.
  • Built out multiple prototypes and worked with the research team on usability, moderated and unmoderated user tests.
  • Defined Google events and created Google Studio dashboards to better inform designers and product owners to ultimately improve the user experience.

Digeo/Arris - Kirkland, Wa 2002-2014

  • Lead the user experience and design, specializing in UX strategy for the Moxi HD DVR, Arris Gateway platform, Moxi Media Player, and mobile applications.
  • Lead the design and front-end development for the HTML5 Arris Marketplace applications including VOD, Weather, and Movie Listings.
  • Responsible for visual design, user experience, and development of the Arris mobile applications on iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Involved in the design for marketing collaterals, manuals, user guides, and conference demos.

Senior Designer

Point.com - Bothell, Wa 11/98-6/01

  • Product design on an ASP application (ARTS) from start to finish, working closely with the marketing department, business analysts, and programmers to determine target market, objectives and implementation.
  • Created user flows and decision trees for the ARTS product.
  • Owned the UI and coded the HTML, JavaScript and a bit of ASP for ARTS.
  • Worked on a number of flash product demos - from story boarding to action scripting.
  • Ensured overall quality and adherence to technical specifications and business rules set forth by client.
  • Complete site preparation, which included conducting interviews, composition creation, graphics optimization for color palettes and browser compatibility, site navigation and directory structure, information design, QA of final product, HTML, JavaScript and ASP.
  • Adhered to branding standards included in information design, developed creative visual media components using Flash, HTML, JavaScript and ASP.
  • Created graphics for the web site Point.com as well as various printed materials.
  • Computer and technical support for the mac-based creative team.

  • Oversaw and contributed to all facets of creating graphical yardage books from production work to layout and design to pre-press checks.
  • Completed the design and lay-out for numerous Yardage books.
  • Supervised 4 Designers, providing technical guidance to team, final approval of all projects, insure standards and requirements were met during project, insured project deadlines and schedules were met, liaison to Management on team progress.
  • Gathered project information from clients, assigned project responsibilities to team, met with clients to demo proofs for approval, set-up print signatures to output to film. Compiled completed sections into final product.

Graphic Designer

Bridgestone Multimedia - Mesa, AZ 3/95-10/97

  • Moved from colorizing art and page layout production to full-job concept creative in less than one year.
  • Responsible for all video-jacket design and approval of all pre-press production.
